Carol is the influential authority in manufacturing and supply chain management, best known as the co-founder of the Demand Driven Institute. Ms. Ptak is a past president of APICS and has authored several books on MRP, ERP, Lean, and Theory of Constraints.The Demand-Driven Adaptive Enterprise (DDAE) model, developed by Ptak and the Demand Driven Institute, views supply chains as complex adaptive systems that need to constantly sense and adapt to market changes.
